Soprano Brenna Heydenburg-Sluiter has appeared in productions of Don Giovanni (Donna Anna—Vienna Summer Music Festival), The Turn of the Screw (Mrs. Grose—Hawaii Performing Arts Festival), Elijah (Soprano Soloist), and La bohème (Mimi cover/Chorus). She has also performed as part of several recitals at Fazioli and Curtiss Hall in Chicago’s historical Fine Arts Building, singing works by Mozart, Schumann, Ravel, and Dello Joio. For several years, she served as a cantor and soprano soloist at Ss. Faith, Hope, and Charity Parish in Winnetka, IL.

While earning her Masters degree at the University of Washington in Seattle, Ms. Heydenburg-Sluiter appeared in the school's production of Hansel and Gretel (Gretel), as well as numerous scenes programs in which she performed excerpts from operas such as Falstaff (Alice Ford), L'Elisir d'Amore (Adina), and Le nozze di Figaro (Contessa). Other Seattle engagements included a 2011 appearance in Vespertine Opera's inaugural production of Dido and Aeneas (Belinda), and Elijah (Soprano Soloist) presented by the University of Washington as part of a collaborative effort between its Orchestral and Choral departments.

Ms. Heydenburg-Sluiter is based in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
